Automate a Restaurant Full Progression Walkthrough
A session-by-session path from first seed to a kitchen that mostly runs itself.
This walkthrough is the ordered path through Automate a Restaurant on Roblox—the incremental restaurant sim from m_experiment that launched May 25, 2026. Use it when search results dump you into random tips or into Run a Restaurant, a different place. Bookmark the official experience: Automate a Restaurant (place 101670277171204).
The loop never changes: plant, hunt rares, experiment recipes, serve customers, unlock harvest / cook / serve drones, grow a production line, share one kitchen with friends (online co-op, about 10 players). What changes is what you ignore. Each chapter below tells you which wiki page to open and which shop rows to leave red.
Before you start
Confirm you are not on a Burnt Toast Labs restaurant title. Codes, staff hires, and beehives belong to the other game. This walkthrough never asks you to hire a waiter. If a video shows dishwashers and floor themes, close it—this wiki still has no verified YouTube ID for place 101670277171204, so we do not embed a wrong-game clip.
Skim Controls if you are on mobile. Then play.
Hour 0–1: tutorial kitchen
Finish the onboarding prompts. They hide the experiment panel, drone dock, and permission UI behind early objectives. Plant the named starter crop on every bed. Learn pots as a second surface, not a replacement for beds—Seeds and Beds. Serve at least three tickets by hand so you feel the delay between cook and pay (Serve Customers).
Do not buy land. Do not buy a second seed type. Do not open a script menu. Cash plan: How to Make Money.
When the first hour ends you should have: a full set of starter beds planted, one dish you can repeat, and a habit of pulling the lever after each grow cycle. Details live in Getting Started and Farm Crops.
Hours 1–3: discovery without panic
Run the staple plate until the till covers a full seed restock plus a little surplus. Spend that surplus on one experiment batch, not ten. Log the combo on the Recipe Checklist. If it fails, you still have income. If it succeeds, compare it to Best Recipes before you rebuild the menu.
Discover Recipes is the mechanic page; this chapter is the pacing. Players who spam the experiment station starve the serve counter and then blame the game.
Hours 3–6: first drone
Identify the step you hate. If beds sit ripe, buy harvest. If tickets wait on raw food, buy cook. If plates sit finished, buy serve. Unlock Drones and Drone Priority explain the roles. One drone that matches the bottleneck beats three underleveled toys.
Walk the stations after the purchase. If the drone loops around furniture, fix pathing with Production Line Layout before buying another unit.
Hours 6–10: land and rares
Buy a backyard cell only when every bed and pot is occupied and collected on time. Use the Expansion Checklist so co-op partners do not double-buy the same tile. Start a rare ingredient hunt when your staple no longer funds the next drone—not because a lobby stranger said a mythical crop exists.
After hour 10: production line and co-op
Treat the kitchen as a factory: harvest lane, cook cluster, serve front. Invite friends only after roles are spoken. Co-op Shared Restaurant is mandatory reading before a full lobby of ten. Public servers after the late-August population spike (see Late August 2026 Snapshot) are noisier; a spoken spender saves the till.
Optional branches (do not mix them into hour one)
- Robux — Gamepasses and Robux after the free loop is stable.
- Scripts — Scripts Hub is a warning desk, not a speedrun tool.
- Trello / Discord — Trello and Discord explain that no official board or invite is verified on this wiki; use the m_experiment group.
- Review — Review if you are still deciding whether to play.
Walkthrough FAQ mindset
If you are lost, you skipped a collection step or you followed the wrong restaurant game. Recenter on: plant → lever → storage → cook → serve → money → one upgrade. That sentence is the whole walkthrough. The linked pages exist so each word has depth when you need it.
Return to the Guides Hub when the desktop dropdown hides later chapters—PC nav shows the first seven Guides entries, then View all into that hub.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this walkthrough for Run a Restaurant?
No. It is only for Automate a Restaurant by m_experiment, place 101670277171204. Staff, beehives, and that game's codes do not apply here.
Where should I go after the tutorial?
Stabilize collection and serving, then unlock one staple recipe. Buy land last. Follow hours 1–3 on this page.
When do I buy the first drone?
After you can name the bottleneck: harvest, cook, or serve. One matching drone beats buying every role at once.
Why is there no video on this walkthrough?
This wiki only embeds verified YouTube IDs for this exact place. As of late August 2026, no such guide is confirmed, so we refuse wrong-game footage.
