Automate a Restaurant is free to play on Roblox. Like most live experiences, the place can sell gamepasses and developer products through the official Store tab. This page explains how to use that tab without getting scammed, without skipping the loop that makes the sim fun, and without confusing this title with Run a Restaurant furniture packs.
The game launched May 25, 2026 from m_experiment. Always open Store from the official place (ID 101670277171204). Third-party “cheap Robux + instant max restaurant” sites are not the Store.
How to read the Store tab
On the Roblox experience page, open Store. Passes listed there are the only ones this wiki will ever treat as real. Names and prices change when m_experiment updates the place—the last Roblox updated stamp as of this writing is August 22, 2026—so we do not invent a pass catalog. If a Discord screenshot shows a pass that is not on that tab, it is fake.
In-experience purchase prompts should match the same names. If a prompt appears after you clicked a random billboard in a public lobby, cancel and re-open Store from the Roblox page.
What Robux cannot replace
Robux does not pull the lever for you. It does not teach recipe discovery. It does not place a production line. Players who buy a skip before they understand How to Make Money still stall—they just stall with less Robux.
Finish Getting Started and one full collect-and-serve cycle (Serve Customers) before you open the wallet. If the free loop already funds a drone, you may not need a pass at all.
Sensible buy order (if you spend)
- Nothing until beds, lever, and tickets make sense.
- A pass that saves time you already enjoy, not one that claims to skip the entire sim.
- Never a pass sold by a player in chat.
- Never a pass bundled with an executor (Scripts Hub).
If two passes look similar, pick the one whose description mentions this kitchen: seeds, drones, backyard cells—not waiters, themes, or drink machines.
Scam patterns (August 2026)
Search volume for this place jumped with 5.4M+ visits. Scam copy-paste followed:
- “Free gamepass” links that ask you to log in off Roblox.
- “Limited drone pass” that only exists on a lookalike place.
- Script hubs that unlock paid perks locally—those vanish on rejoin and can ban the account.
- Cross-game Store lists stolen from Run a Restaurant.

Co-op and paid perks
Online co-op shares one restaurant. A gamepass on your account may not gift the whole lobby. Ask before someone spends Robux expecting ten people to inherit the perk. Co-op Shared Restaurant is about roles; add one question: whose pass is this for?
Alternatives that cost cash, not Robux
Most progression is cash-gated on purpose: cheaper seeds (Seed Priority), one backyard cell (Backyard Cells), one drone role (Drone Priority). That is the intended spend tree. Upgrade Priority ranks those cash buys. Use it before you convert real money.
